McAvoy makes its mark
McAvoy Off-site Building Solutions has secured a £750,000 contract to deliver a 400m2 temporary healthcare centre on behalf of Prime and NHS Birmingham East and North using modular construction technology.
Jerry Crowle, director of quantity surveying at Prime, comments, “Modular construction was identified early on as key to the successful and timely delivery of this project. Helping to reduce the amount of time spent on-site thanks to rapid-assembly and a streamlined supply chain from the factory, the McAvoy off-site system can also be coordinated to arrive on site using Just-in-Time logistics to ensure minimal disruption to the surrounding area.”
