Yale to sponsor FLTA Awards
Leading materials handling equipment manufacturer Yale Europe has confirmed that it will be a full Award Sponsor for the Fork Lift Truck Association Awards for Excellence 2012.
Yale, winner in the Environment category on two occasions, decided to become a Sponsor for Awards 2012 as a way of showing its support for the FLTA’s important work.
Jungheinrich announces a year of used truck fairs
Leading fork lift truck manufacturer Jungheinirch (UK) Ltd has announced that it will be holding a series of used equipment fairs across the country throughout 2012.
The events will take place at Jungheinrich’s depots in Warrington, Birmingham, Cumbernauld, Milton Keynes, Sheffield and Bristol between February and October.
AMHSA symposium to explore handling over the next five years

Taking place on Wednesday 2 May 2012 at Silverstone, the event – entitled ‘Future Material Handling – Getting on track to win’ – will provide a forum for company owners, directors and senior managers to debate developments in materials handling over the coming years and the key role that automation and software will undoubtedly play.

The Automated Material Handling Systems Association (AMHSA) has revealed plans to hold another of its successful ‘symposium’ events in May next year.
Taking place on Wednesday 2 May 2012 at Silverstone racetrack, the symposium – entitled Future Material Handling – Getting on track to win – will bring together supply chain directors and senior management to discuss the likely developments in material handling over the next five years and the key role that automation and software will play.
FLTA names Awards shortlist
The Fork Lift Truck Association (FLTA) has announced the finalists for its 2012 Awards for Excellence. In doing so, it has paid tribute to the high quality of companies, services and products which will compete in the Awards.
A total of 24 nominations from 19 different companies from the UK, Europe and beyond will vie to earn an ‘Archie’ at Awards 2012, which will take place on Saturday 18th February at the Birmingham Hilton Metropole.
