Yodel unveils new service proposition
Following the enormous growth in online shopping, Yodel, one of the UK's largest parcel delivery companies, is to make alterations to its service to meet consumer service demands and match the ever increasing need for flexibility.
The changes being adopted will see Yodel move to a six day a week service, increasing to seven days during December, with the removal of premium charges for weekend deliveries, and standard pricing across the UK, including highlands and islands.

CI Logistics completes South African contract
CI Logistics is supplying bespoke materials handling equipment to Defy Appliances (Pty) Ltd., one of the market leaders in South Africa’s appliance market, and enabling the company to expand its portfolio.
The recently completed contract is for a trolley conveyor which has now been installed in Defy’s Ezakheni factory in Ladysmith.
DB Schenker invests in new logistics centre
A new logistics centre is to be built in the Ilsfeld Untere Bustadt industrial park on Germany's A 81 highway.
DB Schenker Logistics is investing around €27 million in the 60,000sq metre centre, where construction is scheduled to begin in early summer.
