Linde buys its UK dealers
Linde Material Handling (UK) Ltd. has completed the acquisition of the outstanding shares in Linde Creighton Ltd. In the past 12 months, Linde Material Handling (UK) Ltd. has also acquired the outstanding shares in Linde Sterling Ltd. and Linde Castle Ltd., and consequently, as of 28th February 2012 Linde Material (UK) Ltd. is 100% owner of all its trading companies throughout Great Britain, having previously acquired 100% of Linde Trifik in 2006.
In a statement, Linde says the acquisitions are strong evidence of its commitment to - and investment in - its UK business.

Asda agrees contract with Swisslog
Swisslog, a global provider of integrated logistics solutions, has agreed a contract with supermarket chain Asda, to deliver an automated goods-to-man materials handling solution called AutoStore.
AutoStore, an intelligent storage and retrieval system for small case lines, will be used to handle a range of Asda products in a more space efficient and productive way than its current operation, whilst providing flexibility for future expansion.
