DHL Supply Chain ceo appointed for CILT
CILT's president, Peter Hendy CBE, Commissioner, Transport for London, has announced that Graham Inglis, CEO EMEA, DHL Supply Chain has been nominated President Elect of the Institute.
He will take over the role of President at an inauguration lunch in May.
New man for MAN
Dr Carsten Intra is to take over as head of production and logistics at MAN Truck and Bus from 1st April.
He succeeds Lars Wrebo, who will be moving to the executive board of another company.

The Shipowners’ Club strengthens management

New chairman for FTA’s road freight council
From April 2012, Eric Fisher, the transport improvement manager at Abbey Corrugated, will start his new appointment as The Freight Transport Association's new freight council chairman.
The Freight Transport Association's freight councils have a well-earned reputation for turning powerful argument into demonstrable achievement; from defeating poorly devised and potentially counter-productive proposals to make 'eco-driving' a mandatory part of professional driver training, to seeing off EU proposals banning operators from calibrating their own tachographs.
