Apprenticeship awareness day offers training showcase
North Warwickshire & Hinckley College is holding an lift truck maintenance apprenticeship Awareness Day at the Bermuda Park Innovation Centre near Nuneaton on 11th February 2012. The event will allow potential apprentices and employers to showcase training opportunities on offer in the fork lift, transport and logistics industries, including apprenticeships, pre-apprenticeships and full-time courses.
A varirety of events will take place between 10.00 am and 4.00 pm.
The college aims to give employers an insight into running an apprenticeship scheme, and allow potential apprentices the chance to have a look around the purpose-built facilities, meet employers working with the college, and to take part in interactive events and simulations. Apprentices will also have the opportunity to find out about any job openings within the industry, including partner companies that the college works with. Among these companies are MIRA, TNT, Caterpillar, Toyota Materials Handling and Triumph, to name a few. Information about the different programme routes and types of delivery on offer will also be available.
